The Project

The Ocean Health Dashboard is a personal project built out of a genuine interest in the ocean and what the data tells us about its evolution. The goal is simple: make 33 years of ocean science explorable by anyone, without needing a scientific background to understand what's happening.

Temperature, salinity and pH are three of the most telling indicators of ocean health. Watching them shift across decades, year by year, season by season, is a sobering reminder of how much the ocean has already changed, and how much it still absorbs on our behalf.

A personal project, an interactive climate visualization

Explore 33 years of ocean data across three key indicators: sea surface temperature, salinity and pH, spanning 1993 to 2025.

The ocean absorbs 90% of excess heat and 25% of CO₂ from human activity. Every degree of warming, every pH unit lost, every disrupted current has cascading effects on billions of lives and millions of species.
